Franklin Electric founded in 1944 started out as a small motor manufacturing company and has grown into a leading global provider of systems and components for moving water and fuel.

MECOP internships are currently offered at the Canby, OR facility which houses the Pioneer Pump and Franklin Controls brands. The facility is over 90,000 square feet and includes assembly, paint, and limited fabrication capabilities. It also features a 45,000-gallon hydraulic test loop with a 600 HP variable frequency control.

The Pioneer Pump brand is present on four continents: North America, Australia, United Kingdom and South Africa. Products include a range of high-performance centrifugal pumps and pump packages. The brand was built around innovation, and we continue that practice to offer superior products that meet our customers needs.

The Franklin Controls brand includes controls and drives for HVAC, pump, and industrial markets. Products include variable speed drives, automation starters, soft starters, motor control components, and related accessories. Franklin Controls is focused on continuous growth and improvement via lean organization practices, innovation, consistency, and excellent service.
