Gerber prides itself on offering a truly hands on and immersive internship for students to get experience with a wide variety of products, processes and engineering software systems within our Portland factory and international supply chain. Previous interns have helped develop new products, lead continuous improvement projects to elevate existing products and have assisted in manufacturing process control projects on the production floor. Students also get the opportunity to design their own custom knife or tool to be made by our talented prototype shop.
